Nasi Rendang

Hubby and I love to eat out, especially on weekends. We like trying new restos around our block, and when we miss certain foods, we try to hunt for restos that can solve our craving pangs.

Having stayed in Malaysia for almost three years, we have acquired the liking for spicy Malay food. We definitely miss their staple dish - Nasi Lemak. That is why we were ecstatic to discover a restaurant nearby - "Singapore Deli" which serves and specializes on Malaysian/Singaporean food. This has also become a favorite hang-out of Malaysians, Singaporeans and Indonesians. Their food is great, but extremely expensive when compared to how the same dishes are priced in Malaysia or Singapore, but what can we expect...we are in Dubai, so the pricing is both reasonable and understandable.

Here's a photo of what we always order at said resto, our favorite Malay dish: Nasi Rendang (Beef).
